a teeny bit better than a 'C'.
4.0 = A
3.0 = B
2.0 = C

a 'C-' would be LESS than 2.0

Both grade point averages are slightly above a "C". There isn't a significant difference between the two.

On a four-point grading scale, 2.2 is a C.
