My Aunt, who lives two minutes from my house, is having a baby on tuesday. I'm sure i will see her alot, especially when Naomi, the baby, is born. But i'm not sure what i can help with. I know i'll love her, but will i love her enough to deal with her crying all the time.

What should i do when i see her. Change her diaper? dress her? just play with her?
Are babies acuatually lots of fun?

Please pray for the mom and baby to have a safe labor. Thank you!
=)

You can change the diaper, sponge bathe her, and feed her( if mom is not nursing) go to very best baby.com or baby center.com for tips on how to care for a new born. I will pray for a safe labor and delivery. The baby is fortunate to have someone like you

If you are not sure what your aunt needs help with .. just ask her. I found that when my kids were born, that if someone asked how they could help I would ask them if they would mind picking up the newspapers off the floor, or doing the few dishes or running an errand for me.
Just the fact that you are willing to help will be a blessing for your aunt :)
Newborn babies sleep, eat, poop, sleep , eat, poop all day long so there would be not playing with them needed until they are a bit older.
Good luck and relax you will be fine :)

first few weeks all you have to do is help mommy get rest, offer to hold the baby so she can eat/shower. babies are so sweet and small, you just fall in love. As she gets bigger and starts to interact with you, i can't describe how happy you feel!! Your aunt is lucky to have your help! God Bless you all.

Just help out by holding her and letting the mommy get rest. You can cook for your aunt if you know how to cook that helps out alot.Trust me.I didn't want to cook once I had my son.My hubby did or my brother in law did.Or my mother in law bought us bar food.
