My husband and i are going going to have a baby boy in about 2 weeks. We're stuck between the names:
Gabriel Joseph (Gabe)
Nathan Joseph (Nate)
Our last name is Lockheart and we have a 3yr son named Caleb. These are the names we have choosen so please DO NOT suggest any other combos or names.

Both are great names.
I really don't like Nate, but do like Nathan. If you plan to go with the nick name I would choose Gabriel Joseph~~~Gabe is much nicer than Nate!

I love both the first names. They are to die for, but I would have to say that I like Nathan Joseph because it rolls off the tongue a lot smoother than Gabriel Joseph. My opinion. Nice names you've picked out. Good luck and congrats! Either name would be exceptional.

Ok, first I have to say that it is so weird that you chose those names because they are bothe names of my cousins, which are brothers.
So, if I were you, I would choose Nathan. This is because you mentioned that your son's name is Caleb, and Caleb and Gabe both end in th same sound, and that is something to think about. Also, Nahan Lockheart has a lovey ring to it...great choice.
