Name of school was Amarillo High Sandies (in panhandle of TX where sandstorms were comman) so the mascot was a guy dressed in a yellow costume of a sandstorm, shaped like a tornado but not as scary. Funny thing on this, the guy who played the mascot had to try-out for the position on the cheerleading squad (which i was a member) and we married after graduation. Do you think we were both geeks?

I went to two different high schools during High School. The first high school I went to the mascot was a Husky and the second high school mascot I went to was a bear cub.
