how do they know because ive noticed the answerer's come up anonymous when you vote...

The answer that gets most votes wins the best answer. When the question goes to voting, the answerers remain anonymous so that fair, impartial voting takes place.

Yeah, they purposely block the names so the person's buddies can't vote for them just because....but the YA Team knows who posted what answer so that person (the one with the most votes) gets Best Answer.

Yes highest percentage wins. Sometimes only one vote decides it. I've known people that vote only questions they answered.

Yes ,you can also vote for yours ,or if you asked the question vote for one them ,it counts one vote
