I know you can do this, since its chemical base is weaker than chlorine, but how much? It is 66 in by 14 in, so how much is safe? How many tablespoons or cups do you put in for that little pool? thanks in advance!

This is not the place to try and make it at stardom, so don't waste my time trying to be a comedian. Thank you

I would only put in a pint, at most. If that pool was completely filled to the top, it would hold about 210 gallons of water. Unless somebody has pooped in that water, a cup of laundry bleach would more than sterilize that water.

If you can smell the bleach after you've put it in the pool, you've put in way too much.

Bleach does not have the pH balance needed for kids to swim in. A very small pool like this can be emptied and refilled. A good way to keep the lawn watered. If that is not an option you can buy 1 lb bags of 'stabilized chlorine' to mix in a bucket of water and add to the little pool. You can get test strips to check your chemical levels that is really easy to operate and very cheap.

i have a pool that is 10,000 gallons and we put in about 2 gallons of shock a week. Roughly shock is 10 times more potent than regular bleach. So that would be one gallon of reg bleach for every 500 gallons of pool water. There are many other factors to consider. It depends on the sunlight exposure to the water. Time elapsed before you let the kids back in. Also temperature and water movement (guessing not a factor in this case)
