I asked that in my last question. Hate is often irrational.

Hmmm, can't say that I hate gay people as I have friends who are gay and bisexual, and they're great people! :D
Although, when there are some men here that put down women in an awfully mean way, I do wonder perhaps, is it because they prefer the same sex? That I mean, if a man puts women down in general and says that they are disgusting or their bodies are disgusting, obviously it shows that the man is not physically attracted to women and may prefer their own sex?
But I don't know whether this is right thinking or not, and I definately do not intend to insult anyone deliberately who is gay as there are alot of gays out there that do think the opporsite sex is ok.
In the end, it's not a gay or straight issue , it's the person's own chip on their shoulder if they have problems accepting the opposite sex.

Misandry isn't seen against the regulation, merely a blemish on the reliable call of girls persons by many feminists. many females persons grow to be 'guy haters' by fact it quite is the elegant area of do whilst they're interior the corporation of different feminists. Ever observed merely how guy unfriendly the laptop supporters are? Even Germain Greer admitted that she likes men (she married one, and has 2 sons), and one ought to no longer ask for a greater feminist women persons than her. the hardship with some women persons is they experience the could desire to be greater affirmative, greater radical, greater feminist and much less tolerant than different women persons just to coach that they are 'reliable' feminists.

It's so easy for anyone opposing a group of people because of their beliefs to take certain things they don't like in a few people and generalize it for everyone else. All that really shows is close mindedness and ignorance.

I don't think feminists as a whole hate gay people. I identify as queer (I use that in a positive sense) and I'm a feminist. I know many people, queer, straight, or otherwise who either identify as queer or are great allies of the queer community.

Just like society as a whole, feminists as a community, contain people with all kinds of upbringings and believe. Our common bond is that we believe women have equal capabilities as men; that's really all we have in common, everything else depends on the individual.

I am beginning to think you like to upset people and disparage them, group by group.

Au Contraire, Cassius.
Women do not commit hate crimes against gay men, Straight men do.
Feminists in general support Gay,Lesbian & TransGendered people more than the general public does, since they are also a minority.
You really should have some facts on hand before you make such ugly accusations.
Threatened again by a strong woman,eh?
Good luck

Why do you keep posting this question you obviously don't want an answer?
Here is my answer again in case you didn't get it last time.

What you may be referring to and not too smoothly might I add, is that some feminists or women find a connection between misogyny and repressed homosexuality; totally a different thing.
And your question is a huge generalization as I don't hate gay people at all. I have many friends that are gay, and in fact I want very much for the gay and lesbian community to have their rights to marriage or access to the benefits thereof.

****And might I add it's not usually any "feminine" characteristics that a man may possess that would make us suspect this, but it is the "uber" macho behavior or/and (closely related) the misogynistic...***

don't like what you read?

Why are YOU "so in denial" about your own hate issues with gays?

You meant this as a derogatory term to men who hold their wives'/girlfriends' purses. And don't deny the many, MANY times you have used the term (no "h" in there) "lesbian" to put down feminists on this forum. You've done it CONSTANTLY in the past. Using the term "Gay" or "lesbian" to put people down is HOMOPHOBIC behavior...Obviously, YOU are the one in need of some "healing"...those who live in glass houses, ya know...

Oh, and I'm a feminist who believes in gay rights and supports gay marriage. You are just trying (really, pathetically hard) to discredit ALL feminists based on one post...and you're failing miserably. Especially in light of your OWN obvious hate issues with gay people.

It's just a shaming term to try and ad hominem shut up a guy who dared look at their position logically.

I've often wondered what they would think of gay societies like those in ancient Greece where women were basically villified in favour of gay relations between men though.

Do you even READ your responses? It doesn't seem like it, because you keep posting the same, inane drivel and ignoring all the answers to your 'questions', which are of course merely diatribes in disguise.

Are you sure this is the best venue for your perpetual whining?

We're not in denial. We're stating the simple fact that we do like gay people.

Feminists promote rights for all including gays. They were instrumental in lobbying govt to pass laws allowing same sex marriage in Canada.
