Sometimes when a woman asks a serious question, why do some men feel the need to give stupid answers? Here is an example of what I mean. (The first two answers)

I have seen women do the same thing. People just like the attention and want to see a reaction. Best thing we can do is ignore it. Some people think it's cute and funny. When the person asking the question is being sincere about what they are asking. It's annoying, but blow them off. They will eventually either leave or get in trouble. ;)

Ah, what the heck, why don't I try to earn back a good name for the decent men in the world. Unfortunately, men are usually immature, and insensitive to female problems that they can't relate to. They find things that they don't need to deal with funny, and just overall don't care. Yahoo! Answers is a way that they can make rude comments without facing any serious consequences while potentially gaining two points. I am more mature than most guys, so I tend not to answer anything with a stupid, insensitive, or sexist remark. However, I have seen some incredibly immature comments by women as well, so don't be too hasty to put down my gender over yours, though I will admit guys are, in general, bigger jerks. The reason they come to this section in particular is because they are probably hoping to hear girls talk about their breasts or private parts, meaning they have no lives. Hope this clears things up in your mind!

I totally agree with all of the above! I've seen some pretty stupid answers by women too.
Just be glad that there are some of us out there that don't give the stupid answers. :-)
