The least tech-savvy way to explain this from experience is to go into My Computer->Control Panel->System
Go to the Hardware tab, click on Device Manager. Locate your old video card under the Display Adapters type and delete it from the hardware profile. Shut down and reboot your PC.

If the new card is seated properly and the old one is out, the drivers will not return to the list and New Hardware should be requesting the "Have Disk..." for the location of your new drivers for your new card.

You can often remove video drivers in the Add/Remove Programs app in the Control Panel.
