Coral Bells begin blooming in early June and don't stop until the end of August. We suggest dead-heading to prolong the bloom season. Will grow in any well-drained alkaline soil. Even though they tolerate a couple hours of shade, best results are achieved when grown in full sun. These plants look good with Artemisia, ornamental grasses or low ground covers; Lamium, or Lysimachia.

Common Name: Alum Root, Coral Bells, Rock Geranium
Botanical Name: Heuchera micrantha 'Palace Purple'
Type: Perennial
Soil Preference: This plant tolerated drought and will grow in moist soil but prefers a well-drained, loamy or sandy soil with a pH of neutral (7.0)
Light Requirements: Sun to Partial Shade
Attributes: 1991 Perennial Plant of the Year by the Perennial Plant Association. Best used as a border plant, specimen or ground cover.
Pests: Japanese Beetles, Root and Vine Weevils
Diseases: Anthracnose, Gray Mold, Bacterial Leaf Spot
Care: Fertilize every 4 months with slow-release Osmocote or fertilize every few weeks with Plant-tone or Miracle Gro. Dead-head spent blooms. In the spring, remove dead foliage only; after final blooming, but back. In areas of hot, humid summers, grow this long lived perennial in partial shade and avoid hot afternoon sun.

It is one of the hybrid Heucheras. There are many available with similar coloring like 'Pewter Veil'. I am not sure which one you have but somebody will know. Common name is Alum Root or Coral Bells (the old standby original Coral Bells actually has coral-colored bell-shaped flowers, but most the new hybrids have rather plain and tiny white flowers.)
