Neither one. Why do people think that Iraq was any threat to us? Osama Bin Laden was not from Iraq. He and Saddam didn't like each other. When will these people ever wise up? Probably never. They don't understand that the reason we are opposed in Iraq is that we attacked a soverign nation that did not attack us first and that we are on what they believe is sacred land. We are infidels and need to go home. If we do that they will have no reason to want us gone and won't fight with us. If we protect our borders and us homeland security as it is supposed to be used we should have nothing to worry about. Only those of little or no faith in our ability to defend our homeland would be worried about bringing the fight here.

I don't get people like you that think they are going to load up a bunch of insurgents on a boat and have a war here at home. And even if they tried we'd just get to play "I sank your battle ship" on the way over.. I mean seriously.. it's not realistic.

our actions in Iraq do nothing to improve our homeland security.. people can still find ways to get in.. that is what we should be focusing on.. how to protect us here at home... so far the terrorist attacks on our soil are averaging about every 8 years.. (not a lot of data yet on that thank goodness.. but lets roll with that number since it's all we have).. so the next attack is due in fall of 2009.. don't you think we should be finding ways to improve our security here at home instead of making more people want to bomb us?

The war in Iraq does not protect the US from a terrorist attack. Protecting our borders, ports and halting illegal immigration might actually help, but the Republicans have done none of these things in the last 6 years.

they are already fighting a war here. look at how the police treated the immigrant rights activists if that is not warlike behavior against the people I do not know what is.

If we didn't invade Iraq, we wouldn't have had to fight it at all. Iraq was no threat to us. But a war on American soil is the only kind of just war anyway. We should practice non-intervention. We should only fight those who attack us. And once they retreat, we go about our lives.
