Either one would make a fine President.

If one wins the nomination and the other accepts the vice president spot on the ticket, then, we'll only be a heartbeat away from having /both/!

I still think it's too early to call. Obama has the money, the momentum, and a certain 'new voice' cachet going for him. Clinton has the money, the experience, and the connections. Hillary is devisive, Obama may have some crossover apeal. Both also have vague 'minority' credentials - Hillary is a rich white woman, and Obama is from a white upper middle class family, but had a black Kenyan father - which might help or hurt them.

Didn't we just go over this with Looch? OK, here it is again:

Barack is still an unknown to me - I'm waiting for him to demonstrate some more heft. I'm not worried about the experience or lack of, but I am concerned that he's an empty vessel that people are filling with their own stuff. He has yet to define himself beyond his 2004 convention speech (which was a great start, but only a start).

Hillary? NO WAY. She's the Walter Mondale of '08 - no compelling purpose in running other than her own self-satisfying sense that it's her turn, dammit, and why not. It worries me that she's solidifying a lead among Dems - that's only happening because the Repubs look so hapless right now, that people are getting comfortable with the notion of Hillary. I don't think that can last too long.

Unlike all the other people who answered this question previously, I am going to state my answer respectfully to Clinton and Obama. I think I would vote for Hilary Clinton because she is an ispiration to aspiring female politicians like myself. With all due respect to Obama, I do not he is as experience as Hilary Clinton is. Unfortuanatly, I dont think either will be president because of close minded people in America who aren't mature enough to see a African American and Female in that position.

Obama. Clinton is too polarizing, I want to see some unity and a new direction, I feel Obama can offer that.

I like Ron Paul, but the mainstream won't recognize him.

I don't think either one will be.. Obama is to much an unknown and Clinton is such a liar that anyone who would vote for her and she should get elected will get what they asked for. A worst president than Bush.
Have fun with the thumbs down for that comment people.

Neither if I can help it.

Think outside the box. There are at least 18 people in the running. Ignore the idiots in the media who focus and build up those two. Find a candidate who represents you and follow them through thick and thin! Thats how you change things and get real choices in elections!

I'm supporting Sen. Mike Gravel in the election. I normally would never vote for a Democrat, because I consider that party to be dismally corrupt and inefficient, but now, I've registered as a Democrat to vote for him in the Primaries. Thats how you do it. You support your candidate, the one you really feel represents you. You dont just pick one of the two identical "choices" they show you on TV!

Doesn't matter. They're in for a surprise when the 111th congress is elected. That is if in fact they(either Hillary or Obama are elected). The president will be of ltl importance when the House of reps has the power to impeach. ;). Have a nice day. "trust the people." Godspeed.

Ron Paul 08.
