Weren't the endings of both really sad last night?

i think Earl will get out on parole when the next season starts
and i think Karen will get the job in NY. I think there may be more pam involved next season too

"My Name Is Earl"'s Season Finale was good.
Surprise! The May 10th episode of "The Office" was NOT THE SEASON FINALE!
The Season Finale is this coming week May 17. One hour special... "THE JOB" which pits Karen, Jim and Michael against each other for that corporate job.
From what I understand "Karen" is going to have her own show so perhaps next season Jim & Pam will get together.
But...you know...as much as everyone wants that...would it make the show better? Not sure.
On the UK "The Office" Michael's character was fired and Dwight's sort of character was hired in his place at the office.
Perhaps Karen will get hired or Michael will get hired at corporate. Depends on her show and maybe if Steve has movie plans I guess.
Earl... wow... I think next season's episode will be set two years in the future. Maybe all of the other characters lives will have changed a lot except for Earl.
Actually Earl grew and changed this year. Maybe the others change while he is gone. Maybe they learn something from what he did and change their lives....then again this is Earl.....probably not.

lemme tell you those were some crazy endings..not necessarily sad though. i mean earl did a very noble thing and the office...i'm glad she got to tell jim how she really feels for him....it's gonna be REAL interesting!

I thought that was so sweet what Earl did for Joy, and I really really can't wait to see how the Jim/Pam thing pans out.

Those are both my fave shows but I MISSED THE LAST EPISODES so will not read any of the answers here as much as I'm dying to know. Hope I can catch them somewhere before too long.

I don't know it comes on the same time as are you smarter then a fifth grader but i am sure they will have reruns.
