It was actually called "Candy"...and there are two versions, one by Dianh Washington and another by Sara Vaughn.

I've heard both versions of the song but before I did, I had heard it on The Cosby Show too and didn't know til some time later that was a real song until I was listening to it on one of the music channels thru my cable company.

Cosby is a big jazz enthusiast. He put out a couple of albums full of songs done by a variety of artists. "Candy" is the name of the song, and my favorite rendition is by Dinah Washington
