Better hurry, in 50 years this ol earth will be at 10 billion souls at our current rate of growth. There'll be zero fossil fuels, zero coal and other natural resources. Wars will be fought over water and global warming will be in full swing. Third world countries will be burgeoning.

Can technology save the day?...maybe. Will we change our ways and live more 'green' to avoid the impending train wreck?....doubtful. Will there be some cataclysmic event to bring us down to some more sustainable levels...say 3 billion?....probably.

Very good question, everyone is now worried about global warming and do not realized that overpopulation is the reason of all the problems in the world, how can you prevent hunger when there are millions of more mouths to feed in the coming years, how can you prevent global warming when more people will be using fossil fuels, and last, how is the enviroment going to be protected when more room will be needed for the future population growth

Your senator, a scientific magazine, a newspaper...a lot of people actually. Now, how many of them will care? *shrugs* Good luck with that. At the moment, global warming is our issue
