Though I have many female friends I find myself spending most of my time with males. I am more relaxed and have a better time with male friends, cousins, and co-workers. I even feel more comfortable chatting online with only guys. Why is that? Do women subconcsiously feel like they are always in competition with the other woman or women in the room? Is it a security issue?

I have a FEW female friends. The friends I prefer to hang out with the most are my guy friends. Women can be so catty sometimes and there is just TOO much drama. I'm a tomboy anyhow. I mean I can be a girl sometimes in what I wear and showing my emotions and all, but I'm mostly into what guys are stereotypically into (i.e. sports of all kinds, fixing things up, cars, etc...).

I can appreciate the company of both, but I usually go out and party with my girlfriends.I have male friends and it's not the same. You can't share women's issues with a male friend.I'm more comfortable with my women friends, they're always there for me.They're very intelligent, mature, and respectable. We do get crazy and have alot of fun together. We've never been competitive towards each other. But then, you have to be really picky when it comes to your friends.

i have a hard time befriending women online coz whenever i initiate, they think i'm bi or lez or something lol.. and i had a few unpleasant experiences with some women befriending me online, i found out later they're either bi or lez or men who wants sex (which really sucks).

In real life, i have had a few girl friends who betrayed me, i never tried to find out the real reasons behind but i guess you're right it has something to do with "competition". I never had a problem with guy friends, especially the ones i met while i was in college. They're always cool to talk with, no drama and pretensions. They don't talk BS and we're all still good friends. So, i totally agree with what you said.

Prefer MEN's company. I've always had more in common with males, and feel more comfortable with them. Maybe because I always hung out with my Dad way back in the day when I grew up.

Men. Women have such inane issues to discuss and are good to you on your face and as soon as your back is turned they find something or the other to b*itch about. MOst of the women do that to most others and this sort of behaviour puts me off. I stopped going to kitty parties for this reason......

No, I need both. The men are a lot of laughs and they like to get crazy, but there are times when only another woman understands.

Women dont like me except to my face, behind my back they show their true colors, so all my life I have made friends that were men. I like the way they act and dont try to be someone they are not. Men are real and raw. I love men!

This is my biggest weakness,I love women and I don't like men much.

I'm getting better about it.I've always said,I like 90% of the women I meet and 10% of the men.
