My manager has a 1994 chrylser something. Looks like a square box(dunno name). ANYWAYS it has 30K and her transmission was not going into 2, instead when she was driving the next gear it went to, was neutral. She said only when the car was hot.

Her Mechanic said it was the seals that were collapsing, doesn't anyone know about automatics. Iv had manuals my whole life and im not sure

Ask her if she has ever had the transmission fluid and filter changed...if the filter is getting gummed up or dirty, the pump may be starving for fluid, and not putting out enough pressure to shift right...

That may not be the problem, but it could be, based upon what you describe...

First, I find it hard to believe that the car has only 30k miles. It could be a problem with the fluid level being low, a valve body problem or an internal sealing problem. She should take it to a transmission shop for diagnosis.
