"Pop" when I am under the bridge with the Trolls in Michigan.
"Soda" when I get back up to the State of Superior above the Big Mac bridge.

I'm all confused. I grew up in the Northeast with soda but a few years in the Pacific Northwest got me saying pop. Now I'm back in the Northeast and I alternate soda and the soda-pop combo.

I'm the only person in Minnesota that calls it soda.(I dated someone from Missouri that hated the way we say 'pop' so I'm just used to saying it now)

There's no way they say "pop" in Oklahoma, other person who answered! They say, "coke" for everything carbonated until someone asks them to be specific. (Lived there!)
I say "soft drink"- I live in Texas but I picked that up when I lived in New Orleans.
