I think it's absurd that they throw people in jail for parking offenses or smoking marijuana or drinking in public, but they let these people roam free - undocumented and unaccounted for - to behave however they please.
There is no way to properly track these people and that is a major threat to our national security!

They are breaking the law!!!! They need to be send back.
They want to be in our country and reap all the benefits, but they want to break the law. They want the laws bent to suit them. That is not what are country was based on. If you want in this country do it legally.
When my ancestors came to this country , they wanted to be Americans, they wanted to learn English , they wanted to obey the American laws.
These people want to bring Mexico to America and America change and give them everything and make the laws fit them, instead of them becoming Americans and being proud of being an American and living by our laws.
I can not go down the road driving 100 miles an hour. I am not hurting anyone, there is the possiblity I will so that is why it is against the law. These people are breaking the law and are hurting everyone in the process. They are ruining the system of government that has made this country great. If America is so great abide by our laws. If not go home.
Illegal immigrates are breaking the law it has to stop.

It needs to be stopped. The flood of illegal immigrants makes maintaing border security impossible - while that flood may be made up primarily of sympathetic individuals looking for a better life (fleeing povety, racism, corruption, and oppression in thier home countries), it makes it very easy for less well-meaning individuals - habitual violent criminals, drug smugglers, and, yes, even terrorists (like the three who were caught plotting to attack Ft Dix) - to get in, as well.
And, again, even though many illegal aliens may be entirely sympathetic people, it doesn't make sense to look the other way and not enforce the law. It might make sense to change the law, to allow more people to enter legally, to make it easier for 'economic refugees' to enter legally, but it doesn't make sense to change it retroatively with something like Amnesty that awards those already here for breaking the law. Any reform must start by insisting on compliance with the law.

i think it is not right for illegal immigrants to take advantage of the U.S. system, but I think we desperately need immigration reform. it is a long, and i mean years long process to become a citizen. i know immigrants come from all over, but i don't think mexico does anything to stop mexicans from illegally leaving mexico.
a major issue is what to do with the 12million+ already here.
