I saw this men's Prada shirt on bluefly.com. Here's a photo:

I'm thinking about having my tailor make it for me. Would the same style shirt look good as a short-sleeve? Or perhaps longer short-sleeve that come to the top of the elbow? It's summer, so thinking I want something cooler.

Frankly, i think it would look a bit ridiculous short-sleeve, the type of shirt with the little belt really needs a bit of masculinity and short sleeve is not all that. At least below the elbow, I would say, but then you might as well leave it as it is and pull the sleeves up a bit, which would be my preference.

No. The shirt looks good because of the belt & the long sleeves create a nice balance & vertical line. Short sleeves would throw off that balance & create too strong a horizontal line.

I suggest having the shirt made in a lighter weight fabric and lighter color like stone or khaki & wearing the cuffs unbuttoned & rolled a bit.

Lose the belt. Then it will look good in a short sleeve. Do not make it go to the top of the elbow. That is so gay.

Short sleeve would look good, but I don't like that belt. It's too feminine unless of course you like it being feminine.........
