First I must say I love your picture and name and have a feeling that you are absolutely gorgeous.
Yes there is hope for your door. Using a sawzall cut the rotted jambs off and replace with new. Most home stores will sell door jambs.I'd assume it is the bottom of the door in need of repair so once you cut the old off you can usually unscrew the sill to re attach on your new wood. Paint with an exterior paint and your done.

If it's the door itself, a garage door company may be able to remove just that panel and replace it with one the same size and style. If it's the trim around the door, then you can just pull that off and put on new trim. If it's part of the framing for the building, it still can be removed, but that's suddenly a lot more work. You have to support the wall when you remove the rotted piece. If it's the sill plate - the board at the bottom of the wall that lays flat on the garage floor or on top of the blocks - then it's really a chore - call a professional builder to fix this.

If the wood around the window( that supports the window) is rotted your best bet is to have a completely new window proffesionally installed. If all you mean is the trim is rotted you need to have new trim made and installed your best bet is to have it made out of pvc since that will not rot. you may be able to find some at lowes but you will need to borrow a chop saw to install it (measure twice cut once... brad in place with some glue). It sounds to me that you have a leak problem as well. the particle baord should have a vinyl covering over it that prevents water from coming into direct contact with it on the the outside and on the inside should be studs with insulation and then drywall(if its a wet area there is a certain type that is blue) to keap moisture out. make sure all of that stuff is there to prevent future leaks. for repairing drywall either talk to the friendly people at lowes or do an internet search. I hoped some of that helped. you may or may not have framing damage the window could of been poorly instaled

You cannot repair rotted wood, you replace it. That's like trying to bring an aborted baby back to life by cramming it back up in there to see if it will grow.

If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you should use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Go here https://tr.im/pUEPI
Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.

you can't fix rot and you can't attach anything to it. the only thing you can do is tear out all the rotted wood and replace it. it's a messy job and can get expensive but you MUST get down to good wood before you can do anything.
