They didn't learn from the first what makes you think a few more will make a difference.
They are more concern with their conspiracies fairy tales or blaming Bush than face the reality.
If Iran blow up a nuke in NYC the same people will want to talk peace.
3000 dead and see what the democrats want to run away.
BTW: After reviewing the posts above me the feeling is worse than I wanted to believe.

I wouldn't say we need to be attacked, but it would wake up a lot of people to the reality of the struggle we are involved in right now. I think we will be attacked again and perhaps the death of a large number of Americans, as sad as that is, will knock some sense into a myopic, forgetful public which is being bombarded by assaults on the Presidency daily. When it happens, what will Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have to say to their constituants then. If there are any left in Las Vegas or San Fran to have to answer to for their shameful behavier and stupity.

If we got serious on the terrorists, America public would not know about it.
All that would happen is suddenly, on the news, there would be a, 'We've received a special report that US Special Forces have captured Osama Bin Laden and have brought him and several of his Lts. into custody.'
Would we know they're doing it? No.
That's the thing, what is going on now is a set-back in our War on Terror. All it is doing is creating a negative response to our actions at home and abroad, hampering our ability to deal with the terrorists in the future. Was Saddham a bad guy? Sure. But we have to make sure we finish one job before beginning the next.

Sadly people forget. Most don't even realize that Iraq was about dealing with terrorism and rouge countries, not 9/11. We were so together as a country after 9/11 and as soon as the ugly business of war comes along, the Democrats tried to use it as a way to gain back power and anti-war people were given too loud a voice. I pray that we do not see another 9/11 type event on our soil, but it will come because people fail to understand that you have to shoot animals and that is exactly what the terrorists are.

No we dont need to be attacked like 9/11
What we need is to DEmand that our dysfunctional, delusional, pompass self serving peacocks in Congress
PRODUCE legislation that protects the nation, funds the nations ability to defend and secure the borders under penalty of criminal neglience...and fraud.
..Congress is empowered to produce legislation (and fund it) that protects the citizens, defends and secures the nation, and upholds the constitution; YET Congress defrauds the taxpayers -->everyday they waste WORK time strategizing party promotions plots, creating/ funding "studies/ investigational panels " that will "prove" a point/issue/existance of ..,drafting, discussing documents that have no power or authority other than a desire to "make a point/express their disagreement with ..."
They routinely create pork "funding" , and fund other special interest organizations/businesss (ACLU, NPR, The Arts, numerous "institutes" for nutrition, gender orientation, global warming /energy efficiency studies..ect)-ALL of which will mean little when people are digging thru rubble looking for survivors assuming that the destruction zone isnt hot...
Since Congress has chosen to defraud the public with deceit and self serving actions, they are unable to police themselves. Their "ethics" have been replaced by their greed.
...I would not hope for an attack- (death/destruction) simply to achieve a grim wake up call. I think the focus should be a simple but blunt action delivered to Congress-->
....PUT UP or shut -up and resign...OR be prosecuted for dereliction of duty, fraud, aiding and assisting the enemy, leaking of classified info, obstruction of justice, providing false testimony (as they likely cant produce the "statistics" they quote since the staffer who "found" the study may not be "willing" to find it/reveal that the source of the statistic was chosen as a good figure to make/prove a point.
...Every working citizen knows that a job/task requires assessment, options and a decision to act or reject...
YET..Congress takes days/weeks to review a political appointee's resume, then uses weeks plus televised circuses labled as question/answer sessions (think supreme court judge sesssion or Gonzales) and maybe gets to a decision or votes for more investigation as they dont believe...x..even tho an investigation has produced NO Proof..
...For me the key to protecting this nation is to demand that our leaders fullfill their oaths...and not abuse and endanger this nation to serve their political or ideological desires or need for personal power.
..Another attack will kill innocents and MAY galvanize the leaders BUT there is no guarantee that the Congress can let go of the denial and the blame the other guy mantra long enough to do any good....Many in Congress have no trouble viewing suffering from afar as it is viewed as an opportunity to point fingers ,whine, blame or claim that they prefer a more humane approach such as diplomacy...even tho diplomacy is an absurd idea when dealing with irrational humans who have declared intent to kill/harm/destroy.
What may work with rational humans is useless when dealing with fanatics who irrationally believe that they must eradicate.....

the war on terror is serious. However, people like you, Bush, Hannity, and Limbaugh need to stop blowing it out of proportion:
you have a 1 in 88,000 chance of dying in a terrorist attack.
you are 8 times more likely to die in the bathtub. you are 5 times more likely to be murdered. you are 700 times more likely to get on a plane with a drunken pilot. You are 400 times more likely to have a New York Times Best Seller. You are more likely to die from being bitten by a dog,. You are 30 thousand times more likely to die from heart disease.
you can fight terrorism and not let it consume your life at the same time.

too many human rights activists. Passing laws stating you can not punish the guilty too much, just slap their hands and send them on their way.
i seriously doubt any thing can be done, because those terrorists have lots of money, they buy the politicians - ( world wide ) that pass the laws to protect them from wrong full imprisonment, or excessive punishment. how else can you explain how they are running around free and clear.

I don't believe that will even do the trick. The thing we need most is having leaders who actually care about America and the wellbeing of its citizens - Until then we'll see the downfall of the USA, the American dream, and we can only hope and pray that a tragedy like that won't happen.

the most unfortunatly thing about it....is YES!...and i read the answer of that baffone who is trying to blame the government for setting the attacks...and thats why another attack wont do much the same...they will point fingers else where!
the world could be burning down around these idiots, with crazy arabs screaming "yippy for allah!" and they would still be on their computers trying to tie the CIA or FBI or Bush himself to it...

What war on terrorists?
Terrorists only reside in Iraq? Interesting.
All this time I was under the impression terrorists were in Egypt, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Lybia, Syria, Somalia, the UK, Spain, etc.
But come to find out they only congregate in Iraq!? You need to share that epiphany with the Joint Chiefs of Staff!
Pure brilliance..
