Surah (chapter): al-Mumtahina
7. It is near that Allah may create friendship between you and those of them who are your enemies. And Allah is All Powerful, and Forgiving, Merciful.

8, Allah forbids you not regarding those who have not fought against you in religion and expelled you not from your homes, that you may show favour to them and act justly towards them. Undoubtedly, the just are loved by Allah.

9. Allah only forbids you regarding those who have fought against you in religion or expelled you from your homes or have helped others in driving you out, that you should take them for friends, and whosoever takes them for friends, they are the oppressors.

And then terrorists claim by killing innocents that they're doing what Muhammad PBUH asked us to do according to Allah's orders, It's not fair at all

Qur'an:9:5

"Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender"
Qur'an:9:29

"He said, ‘Fight them so that there is no more rebellion, and religion, all of it, is for Allah only. Allah must have no rivals.'"
Ishaq:324

"Fight the unbelievers around you, and let them find harshness in you."
Qur'an:9:123

"I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and they establish prostration prayer, and pay Zakat"
Muslim:C9B1N33

"Those present at the oath of Aqabah had sworn an allegiance to Muhammad. It was a pledge of war against all men. "
Tabari VI:138

"Fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief) and religion is only for Allah. "
Qur'an:2:193

Al Qaeda and the like are doing EXACTLY what Muhammed demanded and did.. their translation seems pretty accurate.

****************************************

know before you judge, I am well aware of why they were said and the events at that time. I know all about the genocide, rape, theft and slavery personally directed by Muhammed. And since he's the guy who made up the religion.. I think we can take his actions as a good indicator of what he meant.

How_Woul..........

well it seems like you know alot from the Qur'an but yet you are ignoring the actual meaning and it seems like you 've wasted you time to collect these (ayat) from the Qur'an but unfortenatly u didnt get the chance to read the meaning or even know why they were said......

i can tell you but noo need to wast my time with someone like you just try to mislead people by taking short cut from a complete answer...

but as long as u 've wrote these(ayat) why didnt you write this one too ,, to complet the list?????????

well this is not the truth about Islam, Allah (GOD) said in the hole Qur'an:(what means); "and fight in the way of Allah those who fight you, but transgress not the limits truly Allah likes not the transgressors".
And
" that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life , it would be as if he saves the life of all mankind. and indeed, there came to them our messengers with clear proofs ,evidences ,and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits(e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allah by committing the major sins) in the land!."

Well, maybe you are pasting some of the nicest verse of your book but the rest are quit different, I had read Koran by myself and I don't really understand how people can believe in this but anyway if you want to know how they made some of the interpretations you can go here:
