My favourite soap operas are General Hospital, All My Children, and As the World Turns :).

I watch the ABC lineup, All my Children, One life to Live and General Hospital. I have been watching since 1975. I know that soap operas have changed. However, life changes they need to go with times.
The best thing to happen to the soap opera is Soap net the channel. This allows myself to watch them during the weekend or at night. I will watch them until they go off the air.

I watch "The Young And The Restless" and "As The World Turns". When I was a kid I loved a soap opera called "Rituals". It came on after I came home from school. There was a character named Noel Gallagher and I thought she was awesome.

In order,they used to be "All my Children","One Life To Live","Ryans Hope", and "General Hospital". Now they're getting ridiculous with these story lines. I tried watching AMC and GH while I was off for a week and I didn't recognize hallf of the characters on these shows.

My #1 favorite soap is General Hospital. I use to really like Sunset Beach that was a good one.

General Hospital - great writing, fantastic story arcs, and a consistent sense of history
