Actual you need to divorce her for being unfaithful, for you will never beable to get over the fact. just because you file first does not meen you have leverage but that your done with what you had thought to be life long and she has turned the table. Feel for you bud for i went thru this as well. Just take your time dont get married for at least 2 years but gf is fine just dont do what most do and get remarried in 6 months after the divorce....

If you are legally separated then yes you can began dating however they recommend that you wait a full year. I don't see the harm in going out. I wouldn't get involved with a long relationship at this point. I understand your hurting but you will move on. I wish you the best of luck!

You've got to move on sooner or later. Shes obviously not coming back right now, and you cant wait around for her. There is nothing wrong with dating in your late 40's, I know plenty of women that are unmarried at that age, they are probably as scarred about dating as you are but oh well. Gotta jump in and get on with life.

Scripture says, Take off the old coat before you put on the new.

Get the divorce finalized.

Then you can date whom you wish - when you feel strong enough.

If you feel you need help healing, then get some good therapy before you start dating again - you'll heal faster that way.

OH yes. Don't compare new girlfriend with old exwife. You took off the old coat, didn't you...

Don't until the divorce is final. She's committing ADULTERY and stands the chance of losing everything. Hang in there and let her hang herself. Then you can walk away with your integrity and screw whoever you want.

Get a clean break and start over. Get your divorce and find someone new. Be sure and choose well, so you don't get into the same situation again. Good luck.

You need to heal yourself before starting the dating scene. If you're having trouble with letting go of the past then you should seek counseling for a bit....
You don't want to bring emotional baggage with you when you start your new & improved life.
Best of Luck!
