check to make sure the ringer on the phone is on.... if your calls appear to be comming thru, but the phone is not ringing, the ringer may be turned off... or the ringer on the phone may be defective... if your phone does 1/2 a ring chances are call foward some how proballay got onto your line... dial your number with a cell or something and see if that is the case.. if that is the case, then dial 74# to disable or deactivate call fowarding... if your phone rings once and then the caller gets cut off, or static... 99% of the time this is a defective phone/fax machine/modem/satellite reciver.... disconnect each thing plugged into a phone jack one at a time, and do a test call with a cell phone to determine what inside your home is causing the trouble... i am assuming that your outgoing calls are fine, since you did not mention that you have no dial tone, or can not call out..
