You can start by mixing some formula with the regular milk so he can start to get the taste of regular milk. It's not that he doesn't like it, it just that it's not what he's used to. Keep trying. Keep mixing the formula and milk for a while and slowly add more regular milk than formula (myabe a lil more each week) and he will gradually get used to the taste.

And for the love of GOD, do not listen to the one that said to mix it with strawberry or chocolate syrup. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids. Or the one that talked about not being able to tolerate whole milk before age 2. That's not true. If there seems to be a problem with the way your child is digesting the milk, such as vomiting or diarrhea, that would show an inability to tolerate milk but you should let your DOCTOR determine that. Babies are supposed to be weaned off formula at age 1 because they are properties in the whole milk that they need to continue to grow. Such as fat for the brain. Some doctors say that you can continue to give formula after age 1 but most recommend whole milk. Not 2%, skim, or fat free. Usually around age or or a couple months after the first birthday, your Pediatrician will begin to talk to you about switching the milk. You should also discuss any concern you may have him him/her.

Good luck!!

The best way I have found is to decrease formula by 1 ounce and add 1 ounce whole milk to it. Give it this way for a few days or so then try decreasing formula by 2 ounces and add 2 ounces of whole milk. Continue decreasing formula and increasing amount of whole milk until he is used to the taste. If you have been making your formula bottles with room temperature water, try keeping some water in the frig and using a little cold mixed in with the room temperature (you can try decreasing room temperature water by 1-2 ounces and adding refrigerated water until he will take it cold). Some babies will go to straight whole milk with no problems, but most like the gradual change from formula to whole milk. Also, this is a good time to introduce a cup. You can use a sippy cup with a valve or I prefer to begin with a cup with a lid that is not spill-proof since it is easier to get something out of it. Some babies even like just a small cup with no lid or a cup with a built-in straw.

Have you tried 1/2 and 1/2. And if that doesn't work try putting 3/4 formula and 1/4 milk. Then start slowly putting in more milk. That's what I had to do when I changed my baby from Breast milk to formula.

Mix 1/4 milk with 3/4 formula for a few days
Mix 1/2 milk with 1/2 formula for a few more days
Mix 3/4 milk with 1/4 formula for a few MORE days

Then switch to all milk.

Start off by putting 3/4 formula and 1/4 milk in his cup. Do that for a day or two. Then even out the ratio. Eventually weening him off completely. He'll gradually acquire the taste for it. My second child hated milk at first but now I can't keep enough of it in the house!

My daughter was the same way about mother's milk. She just hated the switch to milk. We started by mixing 3/4 mom's milk with 1/4 cow's milk. When she adjusted we went to half and half, then 1/4 mom, 3/4 cow until she finally drank 100% cow's milk. It took a while at each change, but it worked

First of all, whatever you do, it's a gradual process. Going straight to cow's milk will shock your baby's bowels and constipate him. The key is to be persistent. Try the beforementioned ideas that interest you. Eventually he will be open to new things. Don't give up. And, contrary to another's opinion on waiting until two years-old, I believe one year-olds can have cow's milk. Just make it Vitamin D or Whole milk.
