I'm just curious because I see a lot of questions on here about women trying to conceive and they're not married yet.

I think most of them are very young, and haven't a real grasp on what they are wanting from life. Every woman (usually, anyway) wants to have a child at some point. You can either be realistic and smart about this life changing decision by 1. waiting til you're married, 2. and you're financially stable, 3. have a partner who wants a fmaily as much as you.

Or you can be silly hearted and believe that once you have a baby with your boyfriend he'll stay with you forever. I really don't know where this idea comes from. And if it is love, hey, love each other and enjoy your time together ALONE. A child will be there forever -- not just until you're bored with him/her.

I've spent 4 awesome years with my husband, and have loved all the freedom we have. I'm 30 now, and now we are deciding to make a family. It's perfect. We're ready. We know what we want and what we're getting into.

Not to sound like a b***h, but why is that any of your business? My boyfriend and I have been together for a VERY long time and we just had a child together. She will be 2 in August. We are very much in love and it was a planned pregnancy but we do not want to get married right now. I dont see a problem in that. Dont judge untill you know the situation. There are a lot of couples who have children and never get married but stay together forever. Its just personal choice.

I honestly believe many women want to trap a man into having a baby. Or some if it involves both partners.. They THINK they want to have a child but more than likley when the time come's they are not ready for one. Immaturity can be a big part in all of these too fast decisions. People should think before they do thing's nowdays and not try and have a child unless they are 100% sure they are devoted, loving, mature, and wealthy enough to raise a child... =] People wind up with thing's they know happen at the right time because they did not think about their action's and than they realize soon after...

because marriage is just a piece of paper
and some people feel that their relationship is strong as if they are married
I am married and yes I wish people will wait to get married before having children but let face it marriage does not guarantee you happiness
only a few lucky is strong anought to cross the hurtles without runny the other way

what a stupid stupid question if people want to have children and they are not married theres no problem at the end of the day they can still give a baby the love it needs wether or not they are married . me and my partner have been together for just over a year and are ready for a baby so we are trying . if couples are ready then i think its great marriage can come later in life and to be honest some people are happier not getting married full stop.

because they feel like it! not everyone wants to get married! some people just want kids and in a sort of selfish way dont really think about how their actions will affect their children. me personlly, i would like to get married first but if a child comes b4 that then thats the way it was meant to be!

My partner and I, have no intention of getting married, but we are happy, buying our home, and happily trying for a baby is that wrong?

My partners best mate and his partner have 2 children and have been together for 17years and not married.

Marriage is just a piece of paper, does not stop people from cheating, leaving, or falling out of love.

I feel the exact same way too and the ones who got something bad to say are the ones who got pregnant before marriage. For the ones who got pregnant out of wedlock, stop trying to be defensive and admit that it is wrong because you know it is. The truth will always hurt!

Why not? Do we not have a right to have children too? I thought that mentality was of my mothers time..that you have to be married to have a child! I am not married...I have twins I am in a VERY stable relationship. We are in love...is marriage truely that important. We can pay our bills..pay for our babies..we own our own house and cars..........so really what difference does it make. I didnt trap him....I hate how woman say that! Just because we arent married we arent capable of love now? A piece of paper proves NOTHING!

I've been a single, divorced mother and my advice too is to wait until you are married and therefore in a more stable relationship. It does make life much more complicated for the children if the relationship does not work out.
