i started birth control, but we had sex right away (stupid), i've gotten my period since then, but i'm sick most mornings, i have a stronger sense of smell, and i'm bloated. with my first daughter i had my period, so i don't know if it's because i'm worried about it, but i started these signs before it even occured to me that i could possibly get pregnant since we didn't wait long before having sex, it was like 3 days after i began using my method

Yes, you *could* be - but it could also be the pill. The pill secretes hormones into your system as well, and sometimes it takes women a few tries to find a pill that doesn't have strange effects on their system. When I first started my pill - I was tired all the time and had severe stomach pain. I lost 5 pounds in two months because I never felt like eating! Luckily i was only on the pill for a few months before hubby and I decided to try to have a baby. But fatigue, sickness, and bloating could just be side effects from the foreign drug. OR it could be that you're pregnant, because it does take a while for the pill to build in your system enough to be effective.

I wouldn't panic, but I'd take a pregnancy test just to be sure.

If you ARE pregnant, you definitely want to stop taking the pill!!!

Ok yes you should have waited at least a month or more before having sex unprotected (you should always have protected sex if you aren't married or for other reasons), I would suggest you see your docter because you could be preggers or something could seriously be wrong..as for having your period when you were pregnant before, that's odd. I've never heard of that happening. So you can either wait to see if your period comes or you should go to your docter. Good Luck

It definitely takes more than three days before birth control kicks in so you could very well be pregnant and I think you should take a test.

And for the person who said it's not normal to have a period while pregnant, that is not true, my teacher had a period the whole nine months she was pregnant and still had a healthy baby boy.
