I was told that I could still get my period and be pregnant. Is that true?

It is not possible because there is no ovulation after a woman is pregnant. No ovulation means no more period.

No. There are many women who bleed in early pregnancy for a variety of reasons but it is not a period. Your period is the shedding of the lining of your uterus and if you shed the lining, you can't support a pregnancy. Early pregnancy bleeding can be mistaken as a light period by some women who don't realize they are pregnant.

Technically, you can, but it won't be like a normal period. It'll be lighter and last for like a day and then stop.
