I'm dutch, and since around the year 2000 we switched from the Gulden (Guilder) to the Euro. As of today, $1 is .7401 Euro, which is 1.63 Gulden.

I will tell you a not so funny story along with this. As soon as this went into place, all of the retail stores barely changed the actual price of the items but changed the symbols from Gulden to Euro's. Which made everything twice as expensive!!! How ridiculous right??

you can buy one icecream, with 1.27 you can buy 1 liter of milk with 4323 you can hire me for a month.
