a] energy is what you feel when you wake up in the morning
No way!

b] energy is something that has power
No! Energy does not have power however the expenditure of energy per unit of time is power.

c] energy is the capacity to do some type of work
Yes!You bet!

d] the sun creates energy
No we couldn't say that really. The gravity of the Sun compresses hydrogen atom so close that they are beginning to fuse and create energy along with helium atoms. So what we really have is a change of energy from one form into another. ....and change of energy into matter!

lol.. i believe it's a physics question, so follow the one that's more scientific. ( option A is definitely not...) energy cannot be created or destroyed, so D is out too. according to physics, power is energy/time, or energy used per unit time.. thus B is out too. most probably it's option c, because when u do some type of work e.g moving an object across a surface, energy is required. thus i would say B ;)

d is wrong , in physics terms , energy is conserved , energy is not created or lost , its only transformed into another kind of energy , as potential energy would become a kinetic energy etc....... sun dont creat energy , it just emitts light ( photons ) also have an energy , this energy might be transformed into heat or light , but again its not lost , its just changed into something else , so the energy is always conserved , u cant creat or lose energy , u can lose it from urself but u cant lose from the universe , its conserved in the whole univers but nothing from it can just vanish ,so its defently not a and not b and not d , its c

The law of conservation of mass, also known as the principle of mass/matter conservation, states that the mass of an isolated system (closed to all transfers of matter and energy) will remain constant over time. So, I think the best answer is D.

Sun is the source of main source of energy for Earth therefore this is to first keep in mind(option d) then after other definitions(option c). :-)
