many ways, you can go to school and get various degrees for production jobs, you can be an actor, you can have crew skills, you can intern for free..
Do you live in Socal..that would be the first step, or you can be in NY, orNC for big time shows, but you did not specify what kind of television..local channels are everywhere

You would have to first contact a Casting Agency. Send them your photo and info. They'll call you for auditions if you have the right look for the part. It's a tough business but it's my dream to be an actor.
