BTW, the news just reported that U.S. and German officials have info that a terrorists attack is against Americans in Germany is imminent !!

But back to the question, I've seen people deny that we need a war on terror and I just can't believe that any American could possibly believe that . So what's the deal with people like that ? Delusional ? Subversive ? Or not really Americans afterall. . . maybe terrorists posing as Americans ?

No one can deny terrorists exists. But the mere fact that something like Al-Queda exists is spun by the Bush Admin. These are scare tactics used to get Americans to support an expensive, human-costly war on an insignificant and ineffective groups of terrorists. Honestly what have the world gained after 3,000 people died on 9/11 and America occupied middle east with lust for revenge? More terrorism!!! Way more dead people than how much was lost on 9/11! And rapid decline economic and living conditions in Iraq and Afaghanistan!

Hell there is even major questions and evidence surrounding the US government for either orchestrating or even complicit with those attacks so I wouldn't even count 9/11 as done by true terrorists with the agenda of destroying freedom.

You also need to read why "terrorists" declare defensive jihad and offensive jihad. American, Isreal and British empires have caused major damage against Arabs for a long, long time (particularly Muslims) because of mainly oil company and Isreal influence.

Read about operation Ajax back in the 1950s. And Read about the millions of people including half a million Arab children starving to death on account of American embargo of medical and food supplies.

I bet you think I "sympathize" with terrorists. But I don't. As you can see I appalled when America does terrorism too!

Terrorism has been increasing since 1979. We didn't wage war after the various attacks of the 1990s. What did we get? Quoting you, "More terrorism!!!!" It's coming w/ or w/o us fighting back, I personally prefer the fighting back method. We've lost less civilians that way so far.

While Steve, Grateful, Gravel and others are playing semantics, Al qeada continues with its jihad and its plans to nuke American cities, which, unforunately, is inevitable. Not using the military as one of various tools against them is beyond Nevillian, it's criminally negligent.

Truth, you have a minimal chance of being shot, can we eliminate gun control now? Global warming isn't going to be catastrophic for a few centuries, no rush then right? We've lost 3/k soldiers/150k in 3 yrs, no biggie statistically right, comparative to other wars, nada, so why the whines about having to pull out?

there are some who believe that, yes, and others that are simply so arrogant that they believe their lives could never be directly impacted by acts of terrorism.

unfortunately, the latter are also completely de-sensitized to the plight of others (living in their own little worlds) therefore, they will have to be faced with a direct strike before prompted to take action. worse yet, as we all know, by then, it may be too late.

These 6 that they arrested have been played down by those in denial, some even thinking they should be given a break! Then last night on Hannity and Colmes on FOX Al Colmes pulled the same liberal in denial bit and was told by the guests that he would be a contributer to another attack with his thinking! One poster on here thought the 6 arrested was a republican scare stunt! I don't understand it at all, it almost seems like their eyes have been closed so they can't see it. Scary, and more than a bit dangerous.

OK....To respond to some of your little inane remarks...."have you seen a terrorist on your street" and the like...I have not seen a terrorist on my street......I also have never seen a million dollars but doesn't mean it ain't out there. What I do see everyday when I go to work is the damage terrorist can do...but we have gone politically correct and call them insurgents. I work at a Military Medical Center. So everyday I see those soldiers who are young enough to be my sons and daughters without arms, legs and other types of wounds. And the people I work with have volunteered to go to Iraq and some of them have already been over there and they are willing to go back to keep you safe. Be thankful for their courage and sacrifice!

I guess there are, I've seen them post that nonsense and I don't really understand them at all. How can anyone plausibly deny the existence of terrorists whose fondest wish is to see this country destroyed? Do they live their lives with blinders on? It's amazing to me.

Republicans and Democrats differ on how to deal with the terrorists but to deny their existence completely?

they are totally deluded if they actually believe terrorism is not a threat to our existance. The terrorist are not going to stop until either they are dead or we are, personally I'm more than happy to help them die for their cause!
