I love going to Santa Monica beach/pier. The pier is a small theme park called Pacific Park. My dad takes my brother, two sisters, and me there at least once every summer. The rides are all very fun. I especially like the roller coaster and the vikings boat. The best part is that when your on any ride that lifts you up pretty high you can see the beach all around you. Once when we were swimming a piece of seaweed got wrapped around my leg, that day my sister kept saying there were sharks and when it happened I freaked out and ran out of the water. I have so many fond memories of that place. I could go on and on but it would take too long.

I live in Hawaii, so it's pretty much like summer here all year long. The thing I like the best though is BEACH DAY! Every Sunday we drive until we find a beach we have not hung out at & pull out the ice chest & comfy chairs & catch some rays!

being able to be outdoors in shorts and a cute tank top, bing able to go swimming outdoors and the great tans you get from laying around doing nothing, summer vacation, longer days so you can get something accomplished, instead of being dark at 4

I agree with the sun being out longer, I like the warm winds, and the storms that come when it's hot and the sky gets real dark and there is thunder and lightning. :)
