Quad core is already out, what do you mean coming in the future?

In three years you'll won't want to be upgrading, you'll just purchase a new machine. System bus speed will have changed that your current system will be obsolete. As Microsoft continues to release newer version of the operating system, each operating system upgrade always seems to take twice as much memory as the prior version to run well.

Enjoy what you have now with your current system, but to think about only upgrading the processor for future needs is probably unrealistic and price wise, probably not worth it.

maybe.

but i doubt it since they don't make money unless you buy a new rig. planned obsolesence. they are a business, and the purpose of a business is to create a profit.

it's getting harder and harder to make computers faster with raw MHZ so they are going the multi-core/multi-processor route. quad 4 core is already out, and of course theres always more coming around the corner.

oh, and 64 bit is NOT always a win/win situation. it doesn't make everything automagically better and faster. there are plenty of computer web sites so read up on it.

some people get upset, but you gotta get into the game sometime. there will always be new stuff, so the key is to use and enjoy what you already have.

in about 3 year you will 8 core CPU and as for the 32bit VS 64Bit , eventually everyone will switch over to 64Bit but will not be able to do it whit your current hardware.
So Save some money
