I want to get the one that is reasonably priced and that is more reliable.

The goodyear has 60,000 miles warranty and Uniroyal has 80,000 miles warranty.

We have Uniroyals on out 2004 Supercharged Grand Prix and have always had good service out of them. The original GoodYears that were on the car were extremely loud. (Car was bought new) The Uniroyals seem to give better ride and usually cost less but see which warranty is best by what it covers not just the mileage rate. If the GoodYears cover broken belts etc. and the Uniroyals don't then I'd go with the Good Years.

Ive never even heard of Uniroyal so I would go with Goodyear.

I've had both types of tires, and good experiences with both. Personally, I'd stick with Goodyear, but that is me. I prefer the name, and the warranty, in my opinion, doesn't matter. More often than not, you go through tires faster than the warranty anyway, and you'd be suprised what that warranty DOESN'T cover. All things considered, I'd go with the bigger name - in this case, Goodyear.
I'd also recommend checking out tire reviews at www.tirerack.com. You can price them and read reviews to see what people like/dislike about them. Hope that helps.

I run Goodyear G90 on my 40 year old Land Rover. I swapped from Michelin as they were getting hard to find in the correct tread pattern. The ones I use are 10 ply truck radials, and they are certainly very good, and quiet, smooth and grip well.

Uniroyal!? who the hell?! Its best to go with a name you know, go with Goodyear.

They are both good tires. The thing to do is the read the ratings that are posted on the sidewalls of the tire.
Look for the treadwear rating, the traction rating, the speed rating.
The harder the tire the longer it will wear, but it will give you less traction.
If all the numbers on the tires are the same, then you should expect the same performance from them.

goodyear is just a old name with hard noisy tyres good for tractors
uniroyial is better for me better grip low noise tyre and the best tyre on wet roads
