It's most likely stress. This happenned to my girlfriend once...she missed two because she was overloaded with midterms. But, if you are not stressed...well don't freak out or it will take longer! And don't pay attention to that perv who answered right above me.

I am 30 now but i can remember when I was a teenager my periods were never predictable. It's stressful being a teenager and your hormones are all over the place and that could be the reason. At least that is what my doctor told me when I was 15 or so.

If you are under a good deal of stress have lost a lot of weight or suffered an injury to your abdomen you can have a delay in your cycle. Some medicines can also cause delay. Make a list of recent changes before you see your Dr to help get to the bottom of this. Good Luck!

if your not sexually active it could be that your under alot of stress, i too have missed a few and the dr. asked me if ive been stressed and the answer was YES! so think about that..i dont think it could be anything to worry about. the dr. also gave me a pill to make me start..

Since you are not sexually active we certainly can rule out pregnancy-however perhaps your cycle isn't regulated yet-this sometimes happens during your teenage years, but by all means have it checked.

it could just simply be stress or it could be a problem such as hormones or ovarian cysts, etc. so many possible things it could be to pinpoint it without getting checked out but a dr. should surely be able to tell you :) good luck hopefully it's nothing
