Follow the money trail. The tiny dog's tail wags the dog. American taxpayer's money provides almost ten thousand dollars a year for every man, woman and child in the state of israel and gains us the hatred of the world arab community; not to mention gas going to $ 4 a gallon and higher. If the country collapses into a depression worse than the one of the 30's who is going to feed israel?

What is your question? Is your question about when the arabs accept Israels existence and recognize Israel's right to defensible borders? or is your question about the un's human rights commission which has yet to comment or act on the human rights violations of too many other countries to list here?

The U.N. is an obsolete peanut gallery. They comment on world affairs but refuse to actually do any good anywhere.
Israel, fortunately for the citizens there, is governed by Israel, not the obsolete peanut gallery.

Sounds like a controversy to me: One side of the dispute calls the other occupiers, while that side calls them terrorists. Both sides call the other's claims false.

No occupation is illegal. If you win a war, you are the occupier. This is how it has been throughout history.
