Are you sure that you know how to put the equation into standard quadratic form?

Standard form mean that the equation looks like:

ax^2+bx+c=0

The quadratic formula then give the solutions in
terms of a,b, and c

3x² + (27/4).x + 27/4 = (3/2).x² + (9/4).x
12x² + 27x + 27 = 6x² + 9x
2x² + 6x + 9 = 0
x = [ - 6 ± √(36 - 72) ] / 4
x = [ - 6 ± 6i) ] / 4
x = [ - 3 ± 3i ] / 2
