It is because of the anestetic. When you go under your body tightens up and all of your muscles get sore. I had a D&C done on monday and it took until wednesday at lunch before i could walk properly. I called the hospital and that is what the nurse told me. If I was sitting for more than 5 min, when i got up it would take 2-3 min before i could walk. But if i was walking around for a while i would be okay, until I sat down again. You can take tylenol or advil for it, but i found that it didnt really help. Advil worked better than tylenol. Having a hot shower relaxes your muscles and helps for a little bit. All you can do really is wait it out. Try stretching a bit, even though it hurts. I am sorry to hear about your loss. I was 8 weeks when I lost mine, and I really really wanted a baby, even tho it was an oops. Good luck!
and they didnt cut your insides. they used a spoon thing to scrape a bit, but it shouldnt hurt inside from that. They are gentle when they do it and they don't do anything to hurt your uterus. the only pain you should have there is from your uterus going back to its original size. You can call the doctor if you want, but they are going to tell you to take advil or tylenol and that it will go away with time. And its not from depression. It is real pain, and it is your muscles stretching back after being so tight in surgery. Trust me I just went through it and call the hosp cuz i was worried.

I had a D&C 04/23 and still haven't been released to do tings like lifting or sex at all because of how deep they had to scrape. I hurt for about 5 days after mine noticeably and then since then, I still have days where my abdomen is very tender and is accompanied by pains around my ovaries adn uterus. I think the anesthesia is probably the cause of some of your discomfort, but, to be on the safe side, I would contact your physician. Good luck!

I'd suggest talking to your doctor. All over body aches could be a sign of fever - take your temperature. You don't want to end up with an infection.
I had a D&C a year ago and had no pain whatsoever.

its not an easy procedure to undergo, and you are probalby depressed too which can cause body aches. Take some meds and sleep for a while. I'm so sorry for your loss.
