Depending on your checkbook, change the worn tires in the front and have a mechanic look at the front end of your vehicle for alingment problems.
Normally, tires should have even wear on them all the way across the tire pattern, to much to the outside or inside may be something more serious than just the tires!
Also, recommend that you get your tires rotated at every other oil change to extend the life and wear on the tires.
Hope this helps...

It is typically best to replace all 4 tires, however there are always exceptions. One being maintenance. Sounds like the previous owner did not rotate the tires regularly, which caused the outside wear. Then in that case replacing the front two is fine. Just be sure to rotate tires and it is also a good idea to have a full wheel alignment any time you get new tires. That will increase tire life as well as better road handling.
One last comment is be sure the rear tires are indeed in good shape. If the car has been sitting for example then they could be weather checked. Then all four tires are recommended. A reputable tire company will check that and can make a recommendation.
Hope this helps and good luck.

I had the same thing on my car. I only replaced the worn ones. I don't think its a problem as long as you replace an even amount. So 2 or all 4. If they are worn only on the outside, then you should also check and see if you need an alignment.

As long as the rear tires ar ok, you should just have the front tires replaced...they get all the wear from turning and braking and it's cheaper than removing the rears to rotate to the front and don't forget to have them balanced and new tire stems put on.......Paul

its better to get them all at once and buy all 4 of them, and also have the front end checked to make sure it is in alignment,i own a shop, and if you don't have the alignment checked on it,and it does have a front end problem, it will wear the tires out a lot faster than it should, so its always a good idea to have this done when installing new tires on any vehicle, those are good cars though, and if you take good care of that one it should last a long time, good luck with it,hope this helps.

Always best to replace all four at once.
Second best option is to trplace 2 at a time...two front or two rear.

not one of the above, you ought to replace your tires while the placed on and tear bars are displaying. you ought to verify your tire stress every time you fill up with gas. you ought to rotate your tires another oil substitute.
