Does anyone know an effective non-chemical way to get rid of scotchbroom. I have been cutting it below ground level year after year which seems to be killing off a few every year...but there has got to be a better way!

Much like bamboo, it's hard to not use a chemical. Sometimes Roundup is the answer.

a shovel... dig it up... roots and all... since the roots hold its food...take its food with it... and toss it out...
