While I do not agree with Bush on everthing and don't understand why we are still in Iraq I do have a question. I read so many statements here about how bad Bush is and everyone has a right to their oppion. The question is... Did you vote in the last election? And yes I do vote in all elections. If not what gives you the right to complain about Bush or even Clinton? You gave up the right to complain when you didn't vote. So why didn't you vote and now want to complain about our president?

Note: I was hoping to get comments form non voters and so far none… guess they would rather complain then answer the question.

Absolutely I voted in the last election and in my state Kerry was the declared winner. I have voted in every election since my 18th birthday.

I voted against Bush in the last two presidential elections. And I will clarify further that I was not registered to a party, and have not yet voted "for" a presidential candidate in my life, only against them.
That being said, I will be voting FOR Obama in the primaries and for president.
But I'm not really sure why you think people didn't vote in 2000 against Bush. Gore did with the popular vote, and Bush only won by a very narrow margin in 2004, and there are still cases pending about voter disenfranchisement and fraud. I don't think the collective "right to complain" can be based on people not voting.

I have voted in every election since I was old enough to put my 2 cents in. I did not vote for this Bush, or his father. I did vote for Bill Clinton and would again if I could. Just to let you know how old I am, I did not vote for Nixon either. Bush has done a terrible job. Would I defend him if someone was trying to do him in, yes. He is the president. Do I defend any of his policies? Absolutely not.

I voted. I am also convinced that Bush isn't as dumb as he acts, he's just plain evil. He's not a conservative, he's certainly not a small-government republican. He is a fear-monger who plays on the fears of the religious right, and is doing a wonderful job enriching his buddies in the oil industry. Anyone want to bet that he lands a 7-figure job as a "consultant" in the oil industry before the next president even has time to replace the "w"s on the White House computers?

I would suspect most people in this forum vote, therefore their interest in the "Politics" section. I don't hate George Bush, but I do have a lot of contempt for him and find him to be arrogant and incompetent. And you are right, I am entitled to my opinion. I also vote, always.

I vote in every election. But the great thing about the US is that everyone can complain, even if they didn't vote. You can even complain even if you are an idiot. Everyone is given the chance to voice their opinion.
