Hello...i have had 2 surgeries for tumors on my ovaries and i went to the doc.2 weeks ago for them to do a ovulating test and it said that i am not ovulating. right now i only have half of one ovary left. i wonder what can i do to get pregnant..all the help would be nice b/c i am at a dead end. thanks ya'll

I think you should speak to your Dr about this. If they brought you in for an ovulation test then I would think they do think it is possible for you to still be able to ovulate from that ovary. If so then I would say that they might be able to give you fertility drugs to help with this such as Clomid. To answer the question about having a period even if you are not ovulating then I say yes you can from what I have read. This is possible because sometimes what triggers a period is simply a shift in hormones and not just from the release of an egg. From the information you have given I would say that all hope is not lost. You just need to get more help from your Dr. Good Luck!!!!!!

you need to ask your doctor this. the fact you only have half an ovary says you probably cant get pregnant . the ovary may have been left so that your body still gets the estrogen please call your doctor and ask them only they can answer this. my answer is my best guess. based on what you said
