I am sure that homosexuality goes back further than recorded history so in all reality there's no way to know.

Well in overall history, noone would know. Uhm oldest written record of a homosexual that I can think of off the top of my head is Alexander the great, who was bisexual really, but appearantly many thought he was in fact homosexual in that time.

But he's the only one I can think of right away.

It goes back quite a ways, it's naturally occurring across every culture across all times.

Homosexual behavior (and apparently orientation) is pervasive across the animal kingdom. It is reasonable to assume that as soon as homo sapiens separated as a species, there were homosexuals among the very first generations.
