the dems who arguably are not Left..(sorry) .. have only been in office for 6 moths, prior to that we had years of total republican control...?
Nancy Pelosi's voting record is almost identical to Mitt Romney's,
Harry Reid is a rabid conservative if you compare him to Ron Paul..

My honest feeling is that both parties serve the same masters and we the people loose either way, but I am amazed at the people in this group that inhale the spoon fed propaganda that dominates Right wing television, radio and newspapers ( which is just about every single network and group as they are all owned by the same companies)

The thing is, the "center" in this country is actually to the right, especially if you compare us to other industrialized countries. We are actually fairly conservative.

That's why politicians who are actually quite centrists are often accused of being "leftist" and those who are truly leftists are accused of being "socialist" or "communist."
