would black people enslave white people if they got the chance? Sometimes I feel like that's Al sharpton and Jessie Jackson's goal

I think it depends. Some definitely would, but I think here in America the vast majority realize how wrong slavery, of anyone, is. Africa is a different story, as slavery of blacks by other blacks is still somewhat common. But here in America, no, I don't think that the majority would have a "you did it to us now we'll do it to you" attitude. I know that Sharpton and Jessie don't speak for all blacks, and I think that even THEY would be aghast at the notion.

Yes, I believe some African Americans would love to enslave White Americans. Some still have the mentality that they are owed something or have been personally wronged. Slavery was a horrible thing but not only African Americans were slaves. No one mentions what they did to the Japanese Americans. They were taken from their home and placed in locked refuge camps. Shouldn't they be even more outraged?

Bigsky_5 is wrong to say that in America slavery is non-existent. What about the sex-slave industry of local Americans, Mexicans and Asians, both adult and children. Slavery exists in every country of the world, the only difference is that in the middle east and Africa it is more open.
