Do a search under KFC RATS and you will find videos of rats running all over the food outlet. So many the staff must have known they were there. I suspect they were planted by someone who then called the press.

Yes. According to KFC the building was being renovated and they were doing some work in the basement. Apparantly the construction "stirred them up". They claim that they had never seen a rat or had problems with rats before this construction was done.
Talk about trying to cover their butts.

The outlet was in NY. Not every KFC has rats, so it's rather stupid to say I'll never go to a KFC again, e.t..c. All resturants have grease traps that periodically need draining. Try to hold off maintenance too long, and you have back up and smell problems. I look around every place I go into. check out the restrooms. If they don't keep them sparkling, you can bet the kitchen isn't. I don't spend my money in a place that's not clean.

I haven't personaly seen the video, but I workin the restaurant industry and one of the managers I recently had told all of us that he personally saw a rat looking out at him from inside a KFC restaurant. He was completely serious. Knowing that, i wouldn't doubt that its real.

It does seem odd that there were so many in plain sight. But apparently at least one former employee said the employees were not made to wear gloves and that he./she had seen rats in contact with food there.
I don't know if we will ever know if it is true or not. All I know is it was certainly gross to watch.

I'm sure it's real & I'm sure it goes on at ALOT of restaurants, but this one just happen to make the news. It totally creeped me out & I CANNOT eat at any Taco Bell anymore!! It's a bummer, because I love their burritos. Just thinking of that video makes me feel so icky !! aarrgghhh!!!

omg i hope it aint the one where i live,i love kfc but when i went in last week it stank of raw sewage me and lots of people were walking in then straight back out .they said it was the drains and just opened front doors YUK YUK YUK. so maybe it is true if thats ought to go by.
