Yes it's possible, and I did just that kind of thing when I was young and full of beans. Just be prepared for LOTS of lab reports, DAYS fulls of finals (I mean one 3 hour at 8, another at 12 and another at 5), lack of a social life, and a hell of a lot of time in the lab.

But if you really love it it can be done, and to some it is done every year in colleges, so if you have it in you - go for it, just don't say - nobody didn't warn you!

the main important issue you will come across with a double significant in Bio and Chem is lab time. many faculties additionally require concurrent lab and lecture aspects, which leaves you with actually not sufficient hours interior the day. Why not evaluate a significant like biotechnology or biochemistry? This significant encompasses lots of a similar instructions you're able to take as a double significant, with lots of a similar grad college or occupation outlooks.

Warning crazy college kid on the loose!
Like the Dr. said Lots and I mean lots of lab reports!
I'm only a chemistry major and it's enough!
I had at least 1 lab report to write EVERY week plus pre lab plus lab notebook.
A lab report, quantum chemistry homework and mid terms all in the same week.
Next year I'll have analytic chemistry 2 lab and organic chemistry lab. I don't expect to have time to breathe!
One lab report takes some research plus mechanisms with chemdraw plus analysis of results.
Good luck! You'll need it!
